to be honest.

its been rather boring here lately, all im doing is counting down the days till summer. and trying to plan stuff to do in summer, holidays, camping with the bradford boys, obviously nationals too, just because their fun, most of my friends go to them, and i always seem to have fun. maybe this year it will be even better if i ride well. MAYBE! is the key word ;)
lately, all iv seem to do is pay out, i got paid for a couple of jobs iv been doing and all of that money (which was for nationals/bmx stuff/holidays/new clothes) went on my lovely car. sometimes i wonder why i actually bother with a car, most of my college mates have them, fair enough, but none of my close mates have them really, so why should i? anyone want a 1.2 punto? haha. no, im kidding i wouldnt actually dare get rid, i can do as i please and when i want to.
HARTLEPOOL SUNDAY! couldnt actually say anything was wrong with hartlepool, cause for me, its best track in the north, altho i havent riden crew yet so we might have a new one soon ;) altho, 6 straights downhill, im not gonna complain at all. was good to see oggy in the mix, obviously with his knee hes been not quite his quick self, but this weekend, we might have a new bradford number 1 ;) my performance at hartlepool, wasnt shocking, neither was it great, my gates sometimes felt good, but earlier in the week i pulled something in my left leg, leaving my second pedal even worse than before.

snow days :) gotta say i needed them off, and it cant come at a better time, chilling in front of the tv watching jeremy kyle, brew in hand. OH YEH :)

recent events, DC's surprise leaving do, gotta say, good luck in america brother! wish you the best luck you big ginger! the beer was flowing, the people and music were good. theres more to write about but i shouldnt ;) twarn ;) one event which was good was terrys argueing with the bouncer, he was ready to go, got everyones coats, then forgot to get the people, funny guy! the bouncer wouldnt let him back in, lines like " i dont even wanna go back in there mate your clubs shit" haha. funny guy.

the seshion next day was mega cold, and i only having an hours kip wasnt really feeling the cold. maybe if it was sunny like in america! but no. good night though defently.

lastely i havent been training at all or even really rode my bike, been too busy working hard and just not getting around to it, i have been re-learning gates though when i have rode thanks to www.martinogden.net ;) watch out 19+ and masters for oggy and his clips! haha.

i promise to update this more, promise, il tell you how leeds goes this weekend, see if im actually able to ride my bike. haha peace and love x

festive season..

ok, its been christmas, and new year, i wish everyone a happy new year and all that, i hope santa braught you what you wanted. i really do, even if it is better that the stuff i got. really. i do. haha ;) im messing about, i wish my hero www.martinogden.net a happy new year, his new year sounded ace, doorman on a salsa dance. YES PLEASE!

my christmas day, family day in, was chilled, me dad and mum had a few beers and watched some of the stuff we got given and then upto my uncles on boxing day, who can outsmart anyone on science, i think we have the same argument every year over asbestos. asbestos for if you dont know is what plumbers used to use for lagging pipes, which only turned out to kill everyone who worked in the factory to make it from lung cancer about 20 years down the line. what a lovely argument. but i wouldnt do it any different, cause its my family.

new years was mental! my friends cant organise anything to save there life soooo to beehive we went, which was packed! and some good bands and djs were on. pretty much had a lovely hangover which is always nice!

new years revolutions, i dont think i made any hard ones, train more, ride more, just have more fun on my bike and stuff, really easy said, but when its freezing its kinda hard to keep to them. but oh wel, i can only try my best.

MY CAR, yehhh hasnt been the best time, the night i locked my keys in the car, got a flat tyre and engine started playing up, some fucker bent the door back, they didnt get in, and nothing was worth nicking, nothing was even in there at all. so why the fuck? i dont get it, but yeh, car went into get sorted, just waiting for the bill and gotta pass its mot overwise, i might have togive in, smart car, i get an amazing deal on one, but still dont want one, could you imagine me in one? id look like a right dick i rekon, no offense to whoever has one, but i dont like them one bit, 70mph and cant even fit my bike in. whats the point? but yehhh, my car will pass, cause it has to basically.

finally.

i finally got around to this. i know its been a while, and alot has happened. mainly me working out my budget is very small when it comes to january. which really sucks. basically. my MOT and Insurance are both due around the 20th of jan. and after christmas, i know im gonna be skint, cause thats just what happens.

Talking about cars, today i did the worst thing a person can do, LOCK YOUR KEYS IN YOUR CAR, put them down in the boot, my dad gave me his set of keys for the van, put them in my pocket, just as i was closing boot, checking i had keys in the pocket, i did, but the wrong ones. SLAM. bang. closed. FUCKED! not a happy snazel or big DJ SNAZEL, we did manage to get them out, but i wont tell you how. AND then did my days work, came out to the car to go home, already nakered, FLAT TYRE, wasnt happy, spent 10 mins changing that bad boy over and then snailed it home, NIGHTMARE.


BMX'ing on sunday, was good to see oggy cheerful, he was snapping and pulling (so it seemed) until a yowth by the name of jack hall killed him off, then oggy disapeared. ;) seemed alot of people who came thought the track had potential. and it does, we need to change the pro straight to something that is actually jumpable and faster than the ryhthme/roller straight? im sure billy fieldhouse could take his beloved tractor and get the job done in a day ;) just like how bradfords old track was done in what? 3 days? haha and it just as good as the one now i rekon ;). calum didnt race, he begged to go to mine for xbox playing, but i was like. NO i wanna race. why? why even bother trying in motos if your just gonna get done over. THAT RULE HAS NEVER APPLIED TO ANY OTHER RACE IV BEEN TO.

its been a while, and i know, i should have loads of time on my hands, but i dont, im a working man you know, too much work work work then train train train. i wish. i wish i could train hard enough to even contend with anyone who is remotely fast, im dredding 19+, properly, one of my all time favourite riders. my dan clifford is a regular A finalist, but even he doesnt win them, and he squats like 100kgs ;)



bmx news. what is a bmx? i havent riden in so long i think i might of forgotten, hopefully gonna get out this saturday morning as its been snowing for time, and i bet the track has half washed away. ace. quality build. the last time i rode was with the goldcoast crew, and oj. the legend that he is, i was feeling it from the night before, and wasnt really on it. kyle and the jacob crew popped down too, kyle was launching the first one on the pro set, first lap. mega impressed, if only anyone or anything could jump the second one and third one, sounds like a job for antony tuffs if you ask me.

Other news, christmas arround the corner, and i know i should be excited, but im not, 1st of january is when my car insurance, car tax and mot are all due. What was i thinking last year to get them all on the same week. WHY, and yeh, christmas dosent get cheaper the older you get. i remember when it was free, haha, oh wel, apart of becoming more self reliant for money i guess.

WARMTH! oggy update, hes out for six months, and thats pretty lame for me, im now bradfords number 1, and as cool as i think i am, im no where near good enough for that title. wan update. he got a job, what more do you need?

ok so its been a while.

im sorry okay, but iv had a busy week. finishing work late, seeing friends, which is fine by me, its what iv needed lately, and then theres bonfire night. what a rubish year, nothing good went down, after 18 years of fireworks, there somehow boring, only good ones are now entertaining to watch, you get me? but i did go to coppul bonfire, and it was fun

bike news, should of had my new parts by now, but alans lovingly didnt tell me they didnt have anything in stock. so off to customriders i went!!!!! and they hooked me straight up. should have parts monday or tuesday, then build it back up, might even ride it if its nice one day.

training news, since iv been ill with my stomach bug thing, which seems to have calmed down so doc gave me ok to start training, back to the gym to pay my £30 a month and try and go as much as i can, which should be easy, as iv got nothing really planned for time. only work. which is LAME!!!!

dont know what else to moan about really, i wrote like 3 draft blogs, but i cant post them, i was very annoid when writing them. piece and love. someone buy me a new helmet x

next year. 19+

I dont really have owt to say about derby, its a good track, fun, long, fitness and smoothness is the key, i dont have any of either, sadly there was wind, and i hate wind, wind and me just dont agree. so i wasnt in the jumping mood. i was gating pretty good for me, and spinning alright, i just couldnt get first jump, after gates i tried to pick up manuel it, ended up touching the top of the lip, which sent my body weight foward, and me over the bars onto my lovely back lovely big bruise and lots of pain, which has cost me a week off walk and a pimp limp around the house, haha good times.

NEXT YEAR, been thinking with all my time off of a been a plumbob and ligging around the house, i need to really pick things up, this year was a waste, no track, no gate practice, lost all will to train and just generally gave up, just went out and rode my bike, no matter what condition i was in. NEXT year though, gonna be different, im a new man, well in the bmx sense, getting back on it in the gym, going riding more, and riding more stuff than just lame bmx tracks, altho, we have 3 newish tracks, yeadon which looks the shizzle, leeds fernville for the pro start hill and last straight manuel competitions, and bradford for just going HUGE! which you will need to.

Good thing about bradford is, we have oggy, who has the best gates iv ever seen, he isnt fit at the minute with his messed up knee, but when hes on it, hes fun to chase down for sure!

NEXT YEAR, is defently gonna be weird without a good friend of mine, WAN so hes back on his rock on the isle of man, and he was half the reason i went and did gates, he always shouted me out for gate seshions! see you soon buddy! dont be a stranger!

ok, so last saturday and sunday was press-ton national, il start off, over two days? seemed odd, but since i didnt get much sleep friday night, and wasnt in the best shape, this was actually an advantage to me. race two motos and have a good night and be fresh for sunday, did it work out this way? noooooooooooooooooooooooo never does haha. il start off with cruiser, cause i did alright in that for once, moto one, 3rd, i like it already, moto 2, toughy, 5th after josh decided that going left off the track into the fence near a hot chick was the best idea, cheers josh. and moto 3, errrrr anyone say, pressure? me and twarn on 8 points each, whoever won out of us two gets to final, boommmmmmmmm snazel with the snap, in about 3rd, watching more athletic people cruise past him, then twarn, and wan-king, then 3rd straight caught up, last turn, BOOMMMMwide and undercut, cutting twarn off and drag race with wan and popey to finish 4th or something and squeeze into the final. final was shocking, i had a good gate but due to my sqeeze into the final, i had lane 8, which sucks, couldnt move over on ryan and that was that, wan didnt finish the lap, he actually bairly started it, unlucky wan, next year? neither did issit (hope your alright bud) he went down hard on that triple double step up thing at end of second straight. i finished 6th. BMX, juniour men, im totally outta shape and yeh, i did shit, i got a good gate in a moto, then was shut down by "pull em all" farran, cheers bud. Semi final, something happened into the first berm, including a very pissed off greg holloway, he makes me laugh does that lad, and daniel thorne, couple of lads seemed to fall aswell, i thought i was in 4th following popey and shipley into the final, turns out, i was 5th hahaha. oh wel. B-Best for me and with it, a 4th or 5th, either way, i wasnt arsed, my legs were killing.

MANY THANK YOU's this year, il start off with my cruiser buddy mr 2024 himself, johnathon hearn, he has a sweet s&m cruiser which i saw alot of 30-39 guys eyeing up, "sweet ride ey?" and i havent squared his wheels, but i might try and be abit smoother in the future, haha. 2nd, this is from preston, mr luckhurst himself, cheers for putting up with me, cheers for just about everything, cheers for including me in the nice family meal, and for some reason letting me stay with your lads. ok, so you like been ill and....

been called a lier? errr i dont think i do, but sure, the sign on ladies in the north can do as they please, im sorry if iv been ill all week isnt a excuse, oh wait actually im not. i had to take myself away before i started getting annoid with them and said something i would regret, and yeh the paramedic people do need paying, but oh wait, how many times have i raced before? so i think the money made from that would cover if i fell, which i didnt, also a rule that i had to sign up to ride the track? thats a stupid bollox rule, thats for stupid people just like alot of bc's rules.

other things which i was told after been ill is, "hes been on a massive bender" "hes hungover" "he's putting it on" "he dosent even look ill" "but youv been riding, you must be fine" the last one really pissed me off, i rode the first straight, then rolled the second cause i was out of breath, then didnt really ride that, today actually killed me, but you know, THEY ARE RIGHT!

Cal just won, no questions, no one near him, too fast too young. LEVI, my favourite juniour male, comes after practice, hungover, feeling it from shinazes b-day celebrations in blackpool, and still races, true dedication, and killed it shockingly, made the final, riding quite well, but i think paris put him off in the final ;) haha. err ian sharpe in two and flemdog in 3, fast as. my favourite race has to be boota taking out oj, or nearly doing, haha break check!!!!!!! funny stuff, boota smile after made it even better. O"only joking"J is my new the new target in cruiser? wan and boota now, wouldnt like to be you. kinda like this oldschool picture, reppin 2004> kyle chesters fully killed me on the berm and i was left for last place, ace haha. kyle chesters weighed twice me and towered over me. i loved racing him.

Few bradfordians did well, arron "never rides" skow won today, as did "im really big" dean, will from the 8's did well as did george, who thinks he can manuel and jump, i wish he would pump and take advice!

errrr yeh thats it, apart from been ill and been pretty bed ridden iv done nowt this week. oh yeh, sarahs mum and dads 50th, that was mega fun, cheers for the invite! and the dj was old school HOT!

I want to moan right now, i F'in hate side plates, scratched the side of my bike, and i take pride in the shiny new paint work, so you know, annoying when rest of your frame is new but the side. ANNOYING! and what happens if your knee hapens to cover the plate when you finish? WTF happens then?dosent make sense in my head, i dont see any advantage, but maybe thats just me?

yehh, this week i decided that i wouldnt ride, i got some new cranks, and waiting for my new gearing, new bb, and just to get around to putting them on. also not having a track dosent help, so you know

A big shout out to BILLY LUCKHURST, on it this weekend, and since he changed his funny looking pedals, started training, hes been pretty on it, 5th at brits, Bfinal hero at coppul and Afinal on second day, did i mention he isnt scared to go big? who, also decided that desperation is the best way to pass someone who gets past you. DESPERATE, thats uncool.

Apart from that, pretty good week, back to college, building blokey college. fun. NOT! 10 hours of the most blokey talking ever, pretty fun. not been paid again, i cant wait to get my hands on that cash, although, i have to save it for lame car insurance.

BRADFORD and YEADON track are also so close to been finish, next season is gonna be good for riding in these parts, i can already tell. anyone want something you cant jump, head to bradford, youl love the airplane take off we have for a final pro jump. il leave you with a lovely picture of bradford, i did go check it out today, soon to be producing pros from all directions!!!!

ok so this weekend i went the big cheese. LONDON baby.

Basically, it didnt start off very well, i had no idea it was the rugby cup final or something like that, and the guy behind me on the coach decided to talk all the way down, thanks! dick. so after been pretty "fresh" friday night and waking up after 3 hours kip, i wasnt in the best of moods for a half 6 wake up call. haha. got there though. and it was so worth it. i even made friends on the coach, england aint that bad. eyyyyyyy.

CHEMICAL BROTHERS! was the whole reason i went to london, terrys hook up so you know, its hot. think thats the best gig iv ever been to, easily, so much dancing and everyone was just feeling it, was mental! two djs before, first dj was mental and proper going for it.

SUNDAY rolled round, and the rain decided to come and ruin any chance of riding, but i wasnt really bothered, i got the chance to see london, and a load of cool stuff you dont see up north. check the of the big bmx wheel, that thing was tall and london is so cool to look at, went around london just chilled and had a massive laugh.

BIG shout out to terry, i know he hates blogspot. but it was defently worth the 6 and half hour bus journey back. defently.

Tired, aching, and bmx'd out.

This weekend was the brits, which were in peterborough. YES, one of my favourite tracks in uk for sure. mint weather, good riding, good company. good times, for sure.


im aching, im tired, im actually bmx'd out. i rode pretty well for me i think, i havent had much track time, and it really showed, my gates felt good and my pull was pretty much alright, i was even jumping! just wasnt really my day on sunday, i was gating and pulling well, just felt bullied really. semi's rolled round and gate 8. mint, i snapped well and was about 4th with brad watts, i knew i wasnt getting past him no way, he was on a mission, so had to settle for 5th. not bad for a unfit, bairly riding yowth i say.


Other racing, it was probally the best brits iv been to for a while watching racing wise, Big shout out for arron skow, he always impresses me, but today, he took it that bit further, made the main and was 2nd to first jump, gutted he slipped his pedal, always next time, he finished 4th. juan watney, 4th in semi in stacked 16-29 crowser to be taken on the line, gutted for you wan, brits just arent your thing. jack hall, hold old? 12? haha how tall? he got unlucky after racing mint all day, good defending by adam really, next time jack, get the major title mate, you can do it. big shout to cal, pulling like a proper pro yowth. how? its his mums cooking i say, im jumping on that secret plan for sure.

props to the noisy north, was there any other regions there? i couldnt here any.
